About
At 21 years old, I decided to venture out into the wide world to broaden my horizons, experience different cultures and lifestyles and in turn reflect on my own beliefs and values.
I write about my experiences and take photos along the way to serve as a reminder in years to come.
I look forward to sharing my experiences with you and would like you to subscribe to this blog by adding your email. You can contact me via email Ivan at adventureivan.com

I randomly ran across your blog while looking for travel tips for yunnan china. You must be having a hell of a time. The entries that you have posted so far are amazing! I'm in Shanghai right now and I'm planning a trip to Kunming next week. I want to head up to Yubeng Village and Meili Mountain. That looks like a great time. Let me know if you can give me any advice for that trip. Keep safe.
Charro keep safe buddy. Will you be in Euro at the end of this year?
Check your email.
Do the same as I did, but start by going to Xidang (save on entrace to Minyong Glacier).
Toss up whether or not you want to walk down via Felai-si.
Chat with the guys at Tashi's lodge in Deqin to see what you'll want to do.
Rohan,
Not sure yet, doubt it though. What'd you have in mind?
Hello Ivan,
Very happy to meet You in my life!
I do admire you as a personality, and respect your bravery!
You have infected me (in positive meaning) with the travelling virus, i do wish You have a safe trip further more as you plan and I will read with great pleasure about your new emotions, life experience and of course about places, that are not described in travel guides.
Take care!
Regards
Dilyara

Dilya,
Thanks for your kind words, it was a real pleasure meeting you in Almaty.
Mike,
Don't really know, no time soon I don't think, but hey, everything changes.
Cheers,
Ivan
hey ivan, wow yours travels sound amazing!! i work for a travel company in Sydney, Australia. its called Royal National Park Eco-tours: UDU. we do day trips which include bushwalking, swimming, learning about aboriginal culture and history, wildlife, and learn to throw a boomerang and spear. if you come to australia you should give us a call and organise a tour, we'd love to have you or any of your friends and offer you a discount. its a great trip with beautiful scenery and the chance to learn about the real down under in just one day. cheers, goodluck with your travels and hope to see you in the future!!
Sarah,
Sounds cool. If/when I ever return back home to Australia, I'll join one of your tours.
Ivan
